Dr Douglas Halliday appointed to Research Skills online.
Epigeum is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Douglas Halliday, Dean of the Graduate School, Durham University, as Lead Advisor to "Research Skills Online".
“Dr Halliday’s appointment will bring top-level strategic guidance to the Epigeum team as we seek to update and improve the courses – both in regard to the structure, content and mode of delivery” says David Babington-Smith, MD of Epigeum. ‘We are delighted to have him involved. Dr Halliday’s experience as Dean of one of the UK’s leading graduate schools, as well as being one of the first to pioneer the use of online training in a graduate school training programme, will strengthen what is already a fabulous team of authors and reviewers."
Dr Halliday’s first function will be to open a workshop at Imperial College London, on the 24th February 2009, where universities using the courses will meet with authors, reviewers, flash developers and film producers to create new versions for 2009.
