
Epigeum is delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Geoffrey Crisp of Adelaide University, to its fast growing team of international authors.
Professor Crisp is co-author to "e-Assessment Online", one of seven courses aimed at university lecturers who need to know more about using technology in their teaching. Dr Phil Davies from Glamorgan University is the other co-author and Dr Cathy Gunn, Auckland University, the Expert Reviewer. The overall project Advisor is Professor Diana Laurillard from the IOE, London.
"Professor Crisp's appointment will bring huge experience to the Epigeum team" says David Babington-Smith, MD of Epigeum. "His experience as an expert in e-Assessment is internationally acknowledged and will strengthen what is already a fabulous team."
Professor Geoffrey Crisp is a current Carrick Associate Fellow, HERDSA Fellow and author of ‘The e-Assessment Handbook' (Continuum International Publishing Group, 2007). He has had a prestigious career in Chemistry, before concentrating on learning and teaching in higher education. He is currently Director, Centre of Learning and Professional Development and Director, Online Education, University of Adelaide.
The Learning Technologies online courses will be available for use in universities in the autumn of 2009.
