Technical information

All our courses comply with the Content Packaging Specification laid out by the IMS Global Learning Consortium. They are compatible with common virtual learning environments (VLEs) such as Blackboard, WebCT, Moodle and Sakai.

Our courses are multimedia rich and are best delivered via a broadband network, a local network (LAN) or on DVD.

We take accessibility seriously and want our courses to be accessible by all users. We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that our courses are compliant with the SENDA and DDA guidelines.

Our courses are specifically designed to be installed in an online system such as a virtual learning environment (VLE) or an Epigeum learning portal.

The precise technical implementation will depend on your institution’s needs and our courses are designed to be flexible in order to accommodate this. You can also tailor the course content to your specific requirements. For more information on this, see bespoking.

We also offer an installation service if you would like help uploading our courses into your virtual learning environment (VLE). There is a small fee for this service.

We provide free installation training to all our clients in the form of regular workshops at our office in London. Following this, we will continue to support you via email and telephone.

We also have a technical support website, dedicated to giving information on how to install our courses into different VLE/LMS systems, along with resolutions to technical issues we have had reported to us by our customers. Click here to view the site.

Our courses are licensed for defined periods. If your files are lost or accidentally deleted during this period, then we will supply replacements at no extra cost.
