20th university joins Research Integrity online collaboration

Michigan Technical University has become the 20th member to join Epigeum's latest online collaboration.

Professor Nicholas Steneck

Professor Nicholas Steneck, Director of the Research Ethics and Integrity Program, at the University of Michigan is Lead Advisor.

Research Integrity online now includes leading universities from the USA, the UK, Ireland, Australia, Singapore and Saudia Arabia, as well as the European research organisation EMBO (www.embo.org).

The collaboration will create five different faculty versions of an online training course on the responsible conduct of research. It will cover all key areas required by the major international research funders. Once complete, universities will be able to install the courses into their Learning Management systems and deliver high-quality, fully interactive RCI training across campus.

Development of the project will start in the spring, and the beta versions will be ready in August 2012. For further details, click here.

There are just two spaces remaining for universities to join this exciting new collaboration. If you would like more information on how to join the existing development group, and want to contribute towards the development of world-class courses to ensure your researchers are trained in integrity issues in a thorough and engaging way, please contact:
