The Beyond Research programme offers researchers the chance to reflect on their research journey so far, and plan their next steps.
From unlocking new entrepreneurial opportunities to tracing their own professional development path, these courses will empower doctoral researchers to master the next step of their careers. The programme includes the following courses: ‘Career Planning‘ and ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship‘.
Core Activities: 1.5 hours
This course offers researchers the chance to reflect on their skills and experience as a researcher, and prepare to translate this experience into a career either within academia, or beyond.

This course encourages researchers to think about innovation and enterprise for social good. Interdisciplinary collaboration across academia and industry, public engagement, social responsibility and sustainability are all key themes covered in this course.
