Although blended learning has become the ‘new normal’, selecting the most appropriate blend of learning activities, resources and technologies for your particular students and learning intentions has become increasingly complex. There is a danger of academic staff simply grafting traditional teaching practices onto 21st-century technologies at additional expense and with limited transformative impact. The programme aims to avoid this problem. It will explore different models of blended learning and help to make explicit many of the choices now available to teachers and learners.
