About this programme
Digital transition across the higher education sector has rapidly evolved, as universities have responded to the immediate need for, and advantages of, online and blended approaches. The focus is now turning to digital transformation – in taking a strategic approach to creating a digital-first culture and pedagogy that delivers high levels of student access and engagement.
Developed through a unique process of collaboration, Enhancing Digital Learning will enable transformational change across the whole institution by supporting staff to put digital at the heart of their teaching, learning and assessment.
Covering key topics such as online learning communities, digital literacies, inclusive teaching and assessment, digital wellbeing, and emerging technologies, this programme of bitesize modules will draw on case studies of innovation and deliver clear, practical strategies to develop staff confidence in transforming their practice. The micro-learning approach will offer great flexibility in allowing institutions to support staff in a way that builds on progress already made.
As a member of the Enhancing Digital Learning development group, your institution will be able to inform all aspects of the programme via a collaborative workshop and rigorous review process – ensuring that it truly meets your needs – before receiving an institution-wide, unlimited subscription to the finished resource upon publication. Involvement in this collaboration will demonstrate a commitment to developing strategic, sustained and innovative digital teaching and learning practices at your university.
