I believe this course fills a significant gap in resources available for the professional development medical educators, but it does so with an online course that is both filled with important content and visually engaging. The course explains faculty’s role in the larger context of the U.S. system of medical education and standards but primarily, it provides practical concepts and tools for clinical teaching. I am grateful to the authors and Epigeum staff and leadership for their expertise, creativity, and dedication to this project and I am proud to consider myself a part of the team who contributed this valuable resource to the medical education community.
