About Teaching and Assessment for Nursing and Allied Health Educators:
This online program of two courses built for educators, as they address some of the issues inherent within clinical education. The program consists of over 3 hours of core activities and 30 hours of offline learning to help ensure the clinicians of tomorrow are fit to practice.
Teaching and Assessment for Nursing and Allied Health Educators is suitable for practitioners with teaching and mentoring responsibilities, with content designed to support all clinical teaching faculty to continue their professional development as educators. With a focus on clinical teaching and learning skills, evaluation and feedback. This program provides nursing and allied health educators with advice on involving patients in the teaching process, strategies for designing and implementing appropriate assessments and discussion of self-assessment tools and related activities for clinical learning.
This program encourages participants to review their profession specific standards and domains, and underlines the fundamental role of service users within clinical education – whilst highlighting the issues of safety and consent.
