I was previously involved in developing ‘Learning with Patients’ at Epigeum, and I have been delighted with the contribution this has made to helping early career clinicians develop their medical teaching. Join us as we develop this new rich multi-media resource to help you reach your faculty in the academic and clinical workplaces, and equip them for state-of-the art assessment practice in medical education.

Professor Ed Peile
Professor Emeritus in Medical Education at the University of Warwick
Assessment has taken the spotlight in medicine education. Medical schools face the challenge of ensuring the professional competency of students, not simply the acquisition of knowledge, and competency is being evaluated using a variety of more complex assessment methods. This program will provide faculty and course directors with a comprehensive understanding of appropriate assessment methods for health professions students. I am enthusiastic about the future role of high quality online faculty development courses allowing medical schools to reach faculty in geographically distant teaching sites. We will bring together an international group of assessment experts who are also highly skilled in the delivery of faculty development courses to create valuable resources that faculty and leadership can customise to their needs.
