About University Teaching: Core Skills
University Teaching: Core Skills will be a single, flexible and comprehensive resource to ensure all staff have access to consistent training. With high-quality content and sophisticated pedagogy, this resource will allow staff to develop their understanding of current scholarship, best practices, quality standards, and professional values.
This programme will support staff with the teaching aspects of their roles and encourage them to think holistically whilst incorporating growing trends such as working with students as partners, student wellbeing, and designing employability into teaching.
Providing a cost-effective and efficient way to scale up teaching support, University Teaching: Core Skills will help institutions to demonstrate their commitment to enhancing teaching quality.
The Higher Education Academy is providing expert guidance to Epigeum on the development of the University Teaching: Core Skills programme to ensure best practices and accurate alignment with the PSF, leading to approval through HEA review and approval processes.
