With institutions continuing to teach online and many campuses preparing to close ahead of the upcoming festive break, students may find themselves facing additional challenges with maintaining their wellbeing and studying effectively. We’ve made our Being Well, Living Well toolkit and Learning Online: Essential Skills for Success course freely accessible for a limited time. These online programmes will help students to maximise their opportunities for success and manage the challenges that may manifest during this transition to online learning – providing essential support to all students wherever they are, and whenever they need it.
The Being Well, Living Well toolkit is made up of 18 modules that students can dip in and out of to develop strategies to manage their mental, physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. The toolkit acts as a first point of support, providing practical information, guidance on supporting friends, and signposting to further support, via interactive activities, animations, and real student voices.
Learning Online: Essential Skills for Success provides an essential introduction to this mode of study. The interactive course’s two concise modules incorporate real student experiences, practical tips, and useful links – helping students to build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to optimise their online learning experience.
It has been a turbulent return to university for many students, as they navigate all the usual pressures of academic study, alongside the uncertainty of lockdowns, social distancing, financial stresses and a focus on online learning. We’re delighted to be able to offer free access to our ‘Being Well, Living Well’ and ‘Learning Online’ programmes for this period of time – providing students with holistic wellbeing strategies throughout their university career, as well as practical guidance and support to help students make the most of studying online
