Andy has worked in education and related markets for his whole career. He started his career as a Sales Representative for McGraw-Hill Education, before becoming the Publisher for their technology lists. Since, Andy has held M.D./Director roles at leading educational content organisations such as Pearson, the BBC, and Letts Educational, leading strategies for digital transformation and content development across multiple media. After twenty-plus years working in Director-level positions in educational publishing and service companies, Andy spent nine years helping to establish and successfully launch one of the UK’s few private universities, Pearson College London (PCL). He was a founding Director of PCL and part of its Executive, with responsibility for strategic partnerships.
Andy has a BA (hons) in English Literature and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Poetry, both from University of Sheffield. He is married with three daughters, all of whom are at, or about to go to, university – and he is a proud fan of Grimsby Town FC!
