Role: Commissioning Editor
- Commissioning and strategic development of a portfolio of courses for the higher education market
- Conducting research into trends, needs, and challenges within higher education to inform future publishing
- Collaborating with experts in the field to create and develop programme content, learning outcomes and pedagogical approaches
- Overseeing projects throughout the development process
Kirsten has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Cultures of Empire, Resistance and Postcoloniality, both from the University of York. Kirsten has broad publishing experience across editorial research, commissioning, and content development for both print and digital resources. Beginning her publishing career with Oxford University Press, she has subsequently worked within Elsevier and Taylor & Francis. Kirsten joined the Epigeum team in January 2021.
