Melis is an Academic Partnerships Representative, UK & Europe
- Promoting Epigeum’s programmes to institutions of Higher Education
- Managing regional accounts across the UK (North territory) and Europe (Benelux)
- Generating leads and opportunities for Epigeum through customer research
- Working with the Implementation team to assist institutions about Epigeum progammes
Melis holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Political Theory Research from the University of Oxford, St Cross College. She completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Political Science: International Relations and Organisations with a minor in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at Leiden University. Alongside her work at Oxford University Press, Melis supports global education through elected positions at James Madison Charitable Trust (JMCT) and International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS). As the honorary secretary of JMCT, she reviews research grant applications and organises educational activities on federalism. As the Head of the Academic Department of IAPSS, she manages the publications, research committees, and academic partnerships of the Association. Outside of work, Melis enjoys dancing, learning new boardgames, and cycling. She is also an active member of Oxford University Tango Society and St Cross Tea Tasting Society.
